I'm an electronics enginyer from Barcelona (spain). I started 7 years ago building robots for the Sumo fightin competitions held in my University. Actually I'm building a robot for another competition also held hire in Barcelona called Rice collector contest. This competition consist in collecting rice spreaded all over a 4 m2 flat surface with obstacles. The rice must be collected inside of the robot and then unloaded inside of a recipient that has IR emiting diodes on top. The time to conclude the task is 3 minuts and there are 2 kg of rice spreaded on the floor. I work mostly with PIC microcontrolers and LEGO. I considere my LEGO skills very high, but not so good at programaming and electronics. I would like to contact with people in my area and also I'm interested in learning better ways to program my robots like EMBEDDED LINUX or EMBEDDED PC's with DOS and program them in C.
