Notes: I have built several robots, mainly just experiments with gearless drive systems, platform matrix, and outdoor mobility. I have not participated in any formal robot groups or competitions, although I am interested in contributing. Currently I am nearing completion of an autonomous robot control (ARC) IC. It basically interpets input and output devices (IR sensors, bump switches, motor drivers, etc) using specified mindsets to react appropriately. It does basic navigation, prioritizes reactions, and has some very limited problem solving capability.

I am currently collecting sensor circuit designs. I want to make sure the ARC supports a broad range of sensor circuits. I am generally looking for circuits that are involve few parts, are easily obtainable, are useful in robotics, and require few IO lines. If you got any suggestions/votes I would be glad to hear from you.
