Well, I've just joined the Robots.net community to see if I can encourage some more dialogue about the ethical and philosophical issues associated with robotics and AI. I'm a philosophy lecturer at Monash University in Australia. I have several publications in the area myself (see my account page). I'm hoping both to learn more about cutting edge robotics research and to encourage people to think seriously about the ethical implications of robotics applications.
Now I shall wait and see....
