Notes: We plan to develop a robot that will participate in an annual 10k walk to raise money for non-profit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Each year the CFF holds a 10k walk called the CF Strides Walk. Normally humans participate in the walk and try to get others to pledge money for their participation in the walk. Our plan is to use the added publicity of having a robot complete the 10k walk to raise more money for the charity. Jim Brown is the project leader and maintains a web site and mailing list for participants. The web site includes a progress diary, photos, and design information on the robot.
