| This robot originally start out as a flying critter thingy, however, after a few mishaps with flight attempts, I decided it would be more fun to put some legs on it and make it walk around instead of continually picking up the shattered remains from a crash. As it turned out I went way overboard and it just got so heavy that it could barley walk, let alone do any flying. I use some PIC micro controllers to handle all of the servos and sensors. The main controller is a DIMMPC (486 PC miniature controller). This "PC" is no
bigger than the size of a credit card, with all the trimmings you would expect from a PC. The down side is that it cost about $900 for the complete development system. It also uses about 5W of power. If you would like more information, or just want to say hi, send me an email.
