| Walker is a four leged eight servo expermentation platform.
The servos are driven by a BSIISX from Parallax. It will walk forward, to the right and left. I will be adding my homemade ir prox sensors and a Battery Booster from Mark Medonis to make it a totaly self contained bot. It currently has a teather to my bread board and power supply. Walking with four legs has and continues to be one of the more difficult projects I have fallen into. The body of the walker is 1/4" plastic board like the 'Robot Store' sells. Servos from Tower Hobbies baught in bulk for $10us ea. Total cost ~$100 US, 2 hours construction time, and untold hours of software development. awilson@pacifier.com |
